This is created by brush tool and gradient tools.
Firstly,i use gradient tool in order to create the background as you seen in the design.
After that, i saw that there are an black area which is mystery therefore it is very suitable to a ghost.
Therefore,i search on the iNternet a brush about ghost. Finally, i found one.I create another layer and use the brush.
It is a girl. Meanning of this design is ghost is a mystery power. We cannot find them unless they allow. They are hiden in the dark world.

This is a simple design. But it take me a lot of time because i have to select my body carefully so that irrelevant area will be delete.
After that i created an layer with the gradient to let people have the feeling that there was a mystery power behind me.
That’s why i used a brush of eye to charactirerize it.
This is very simple however it is very meaningful to me.
In this semester, i met a big problem. That problem caused me an extremely pain. It is very hurt.
This is the end of semester, i wondered that am i free now.

this is one more desigh about abstraction.
There are three layers. The first layer is just a blank color. It means background color is just a pink color.
Next, i add one more layer. Then i use dot brush to clear some different colors dots-big dots in order to make the viewer have some idea about balloon. Then i reduce the opacity of those dots so that those dots become blurer.
Finally,i add one more layer and do this step again.then use filter to make it more “abstract”.
Below is the design. It look kool right???

I was amazed by the way Barbara Kruger has impressed her viewers (including me). We only can find 3 colors : black, white and red in all her artworks. And believe me all of them look really simple, one black-white photo and one or two words/ sentences. But the results are awesome. You may want to see some of her works here : http://www.barbarakruger.com/
As a respond to my own interest, I’ve made an poster imitating her style, with my idea :D, and here is the result.
The photo is me and my friend Nguyen’s foots
And the sentence is my fave quote ;))

This is my Visual Diary cover.
All the work is done by hand drawing.
After drawing, I TOOK the picture of it ( not SCAn because scanning pictures won’t work by using Taking picture ).
Go to Photoshop, I cleaned the background.
Then using Ctrl M ( Curves ), I changed the color of the picture and created this.
Feel free to enjoy.
